Viterion maintains a telehealth care network for their
registered patients, clinicians and clinics to provide health care services
to their clients. The services include registration of doctors, nurses,
sites(clinics) and patients. Patients are then assigned to clinicians
for regular monitoring of their various measures like pressure, sugar,
temperature, ecg, etc. Readings are taken at clinics or at home using
V100/V500 devices and Sensors. These readings are then transmitted to
a central server, which runs the VNET application. Clinicians get alerts
on readings out of normal range and take necessary actions. We developed
this central web based application for the telehealth care service. The
system was developed in .Net platform running on Windows 2008, 64-bit
architecture.

Subsequent to the successful development and implementation of a .Net based application for the TeleHealth Care System, Viterion awarded TKM Infotech with the second part of the telehealth care system. The project was to develop the servlets required for the V100/V500 devices to connect to the VNET system and then upload or download the patient measures.
The V100/V500 devices connect to the system over a telephone
network. User/Device authentication, taking measurements, uploading it
to the VNET database, downloading the same to the V100/500 device for
viewing are the major functionalities of the VSB Checker Project. Tomcat
was used as the servlet container for this project.

The project was to develop an emulator for V100/V500 devices which can be installed on PCs with drivers for all the sensors to connect through USB, Serial, IR or Bluetooth interfaces.
